In early 2020, the world’s best selling midsize sedan, the Volkswagen Passat,introduced a facelift to the Malaysian market.

As the Passat is a fan-favourite, established car, we set ourselves to further elevate the prestige of the car by establishing its competitive edge and engaging with the Passat’s target audience.

We used LinkedIn’s unique capacity to target audiences with recent career promotions – through LinkedIn Inmail’s personalised messaging, we congratulated customers on their new positions and invite them for a test drive with the new Passat.
